Mobi-Mat® Beach-Access Mat (BAM) is a medium grade polyester roll-out mat system designed to facilitate ship-to-shore movements; it is a unique and capable Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) mat system for supporting off road mobility requirements during expeditionary missions over sand, gravel, or pebble beach.

Mobi-Mat® BAM was tested by the US Marine Corps in East Timor, Iwo Jima, and Camp Pendleton. It provides the capability to conduct mobility operations in complex littoral environments to any landing support unit.

In addition, the Australian Army used the Mobi-Mat® BAM during the Indonesian Tsunami Relief and international peacekeeping operations in East Timor.

The Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) uses the Mobi-Mat® BAM in conjunction with Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC).

The obsolete fiber glass Mo-Mat has been progressively replaced by Mobi-Mat® Beach-Access Mat, type A2X (1.65kg/sqm - 0.34 lb/sqft) during exercises and contingency operations worldwide.
